Trail & Wildlife of Satpura Hills

Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Namaste! We are warmly welcomed the traditional Indian way with hands clapped together. After immigration and custom formalities, we are transferred to the hotel for overnight stay. 

Day 02 – Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort (from outside) – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.  Evening is free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 – Delhi – Bhopal (By Train)
Today early morning transfer to the railway station to board train for Bhopal.

Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and later proceed to witness the scenic beauty and urban planning of the historic city which includes Bharat Bhawan, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya and Laxmi Narayan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 – Bhopal – Satpura Tiger Reserve  
Today morning after breakfast we will drive to Satpura Tiger Reserve (approx. 130kms / 03 ½ hours). This park lies around a river which give visitors good tiger sightseeing experience.

Upon arrival, we will be transfer to the tented accommodation near to core zone of reserve. We will be staying with local community.

Afternoon, we will enjoy boat safari to see animals & birds. Evening is free to spend time with local villagers. Overnight at the tented accommodation.

Day 05 – Satpura Tiger Reserve  
Today early morning, enjoy walking tour which passes through the Teak forest and bushes of core zone to explore more wildlife. Picnic Lunch will be provide en route while trekking through forest. Enjoy many view points and quite atmosphere of forest.

Evening is free to spend time with local villagers. Overnight at the tented accommodation.

Day 06 – Satpura Tiger Reserve – Pachmarhi
Today early morning enjoy jeep safari to the park to explore more wildlife. Return to the accommodation for breakfast and later follow the James Forsyth trail which passes through jungle to reach Satpura hills. This area is under the rule of Gond tribes.

Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room. Rest of the day is free to explore nature. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 – Pachmarhi
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Pachmarhi which includes Pandav Caves, Gupt Mahadev cave, Duchess fall, Apsara Fall, Bee-fall and Dhoopgarh.

Evening is free to explore nature or relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 – Pachmarhi – Sataka
Today morning after breakfast we will drive to Sataka (approx. 220kms / 05hours) which is a small town near Pench and Kanha national park. Upon arrival, check in to forest lodge which is situated inside the park with very quiet and beautiful view.

Afternoon, enjoy walk through the forest to explore wildlife and some rear birds. Evening is free to spend time with local villagers. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 09 – Sataka – Pench National Park
Today early morning, enjoy walking tour which passes through the forest to explore more wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and later drive to Pench National Park (approx. 70Kms / 02 hours). This central India Park is situated in Satpura ranges with area of more than 750sq. kms. In this park you can see Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Cheetal, Sambar, Jackal, Fox etc.

Upon arrival check-in at the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon enjoy Jeep/Canter safari to view wildlife. Evening is free for leisure walk around surrounding area. Overnight at the resort.

Day 10 – Pench National Park – Nagpur – Delhi
Early morning Jeep/Canter safari through the national park. Return to the resort for breakfast and drive directly to Nagpur airport (approx. 90Kms / 03 hours) to board flight for Delhi.

Upon in Delhi arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 – Depart Delhi   
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
