Visits of India accepts the bookings subject to the following conditions. These booking conditions, where your tour is booked via our website, local partner or by any other way, we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking as it form the basis of your contract with our company. Please read them carefully as they set out our rights and obligations.

CONDITION OF TRAVEL

Group members/Travellers will have to strictly follow the tour program as per the validity of the itinerary or air ticket. It’s the responsibility of the Group members/Travellers to reach the place of commencement of the tour ahead of time. The Company is not responsible or liable if Group members/Travellers fails to reach the place on time OR if loses travel documents or baggage. In such a case, the booking will be treated as NO SHOW and cancellation charges will be applicable.Each tour member shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to co-travellers or damage property of the local tour operator / co-travellers.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Visits of India only act as a package organiser providing separate travel services like Airlines, Train, Hotels, Transport and other special services. Company have a right to change the itinerary or services depending on various factors like Natural disaster such as flood, earthquakes, weather condition or Road condition, Political closures, Terrorist act, Biological disaster or any event which make it impossible to travel safely to next destination.

Company reserve the right to change the cost of unsold tours or amend errors in the prices of confirmed tour at any time. We also reserve the right to increase the price of confirmed tour due to change in tax structure, fee chargeable by local vendors, Entrance fee, Jungle Safari or any increase in cost of hotel or airlines.

PAYMENTS AND FEE

For all the services / tour booked, advance payment should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis. You can pay balance amount 15Days before your departure or upon arrival. Based on type of services, Company hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid in advance. In some cases like Luxury Train Booking, Christmas Eve or New Year, full payment is required to hold the booking on confirmed basis.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of any cancelling of services or tour, cancellation charges will be imposed. These are calculated from the day written notification is received. The cancellation charges shown below are those which will apply to most trips.

However, some suppliers have conditions which require the payment of higher or different charges (including the imposition of 100% cancellation charges well in advance).

a) 30 days before trip start date – 10% or loss of deposit if higher
b) 21 days before trip start date – 25%
c) 07 days before trip start date – 50%
d) Less than 02 days before trip start date – 100% (No Refund)

REFUND

Company shall not be responsible to give any refund to you in case of tour or any part of the tour/services cannot be utilized due to Force Majeure or Nature disaster. However, at its sole discretion, the Company gives the refund based on various factors like the number of group members, the cancellation policies of suppliers like hoteliers, Airlines, Transport operators, etc. the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be final.


It would take at least 06 to 07 weeks to process the refund (if due).


It is clearly understood that there shall be no refund whatsoever if the Client does not or cannot utilize any of the services like Hotels, Flight, Entrance Fee, Sightseeing, Special Meal or Optional tour due to any reason whatsoever.

COMPLAINTS

If the group member/traveller has any complaint for the services provided by any of the independent local tour partner, the group member/traveller shall immediately notify us thru email, Fax or Phone call so that we can immediately take up the matter with the local partner.

Any claim or complaint by the tour participant must be notified to the Company in writing within a week after final departure. No complaint shall be entertained after the mentioned period.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

You are responsible for arranging travel documents like valid visa, passport and vaccination certificates required for your entire trip. Company cannot accept any liability if you’re refused to entry into any country due to failure on your part. If your failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results in cancellation of your trip or unused services, cancellation charges will be imposed.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

You must have travel insurance when you travel through us. You are wholly responsible for arranging your own travel insurance. You must ensure that you have personal travel insurance with protection for the full duration of the trip.

BROCHURE / WEBSITE

The information contained in our website or brochure or in our any other advertising material is believed correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of uploading or printing. However, errors may occasionally occur and information may subsequently change. You must therefore ensure to check all the details of your trip with us at the time of booking.

SPECIAL REQUEST

Any special request must be advised to us at the time of booking services like Diet preference, Wheel chair, Room type (Double/Twin), Jungle Safari, Cooking class, Swimming pool etc. We will make every effort to arrange your special request but we can’t guarantee due to unforeseen reason like peak period, hotel fully booked, time limit of safari, Nature hazard, political closures etc. Failure to fulfill any special request will not be a part of contract and company is not responsible for it.

OTHER CHARGES

PORTERAGE & TIPPING: Porterage and tipping is expected for the services rendered and the same is not included in tour cost. However in Asian countries, tipping is consider as a reward towards the services. We strongly recommend to give tips to portage guy, guides or driver who will take care of you during the tour. At your welcome meeting, please ask your leader about local custom.

HOTEL SECURITY DEPOSIT: It is customary for hotels to insist for credit card details during check in, to cover security deposit in order to offset cost of any other extra service/s that the tour participant may avail from the hotel, besides what is included in the hotel voucher or tour package.
