Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.
Afternoon, sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 – Delhi – Guwahati (By Flight) – Addabarie Tea Estate
Today early morning transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Upon arrival, drive to Addabarie Tea Estate (approx. 220kms / 05 hours).
Upon arrival check-in at the bungalow and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Late afternoon, we will have a walk along with its tea gardens. Overnight at the bungalow.
Day 04 – Addabarie Tea Estate
Today after breakfast, we will go to visit the Tea Factory to know the whole process of tea making. Here, you will see the full process of manufacturing like crushing, tearing and curling of tea.
Later, return to the bungalow to have lunch. Having lunch inside the tea plantation garden is its a unique experience. Later visit nearby Rangapara Monastery. In the evening return to the bungalow for overnight stay.
Day 05 – Addabarie Tea Estate
Today after breakfast, we will go to Balipara – traditional know as Missing village. Here, we will participate and witness day routine of this community. Its a second largest group in Assam which originating their footprint from Tibet & Mongolia. Locals of this village are known for their handlooms of cotton and silk, fishing and cultivation.
During our visit to the village, we will experience their day to day life activities like agricultural practices, fishing, rearing silk worms, etc. Later, we will visit the local handicrafts factory and try our hands in weaving.
Enjoy your lunch at the village with local people. In the evening return to the bungalow for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06 – Addabarie Tea Estate – Kaziranga National Park
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 90Kms / 02 hours). Kaziranga national park which is mainly famous for Indian one Horned Rhinoceros. Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, with covering an area of approximately 430-sq-kms, with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass, making Kaziranga National Park the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. The Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.
Upon arrival check-in at the resort/ Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon Jeep safari to the National park for wildlife viewing and also visit the tea gardens and rubber plantations. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Day 07 – Kaziranga National Park
Today we will wake up early for our morning elephant safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Return back to resort/Camp for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari to other part of national park. Overnight at the resort/ Camp.
Apart from the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions include a large population of Indian Elephants, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons etc. Overnight at the resort/ Camp
Day 08 – Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati – Kolkata (By flight)
Morning after early breakfast, drive to Guwahati airport (approx. 220kms / 05 hours) to board the flight for Kolkata. Upon arrival, rest of the day is free to explore the city or for individual activities.
Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
