Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi
Namaste! We are warmly welcomed the traditional Indian way with hands clapped together. After immigration and custom formalities, you will be transferred to the hotel. (Early Check-in Subject to availability).

Delhi, the capital of India is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi
Today we will start sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort (from outside) – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

Afternoon, sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.

In evening enjoy dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa
Today morning after breakfast drive to Mandawa (approx. 255kms / 05 hours). It was founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants. The whole area of Shekhavati has beautiful frescoes, Havelis & mansions and is called the open air gallery.

Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and later take a walking tour of the painted ‘havelis’ of some of the leading business families of the country. Though they no longer live here but caretakers will show you around Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshminarayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhagchandika Haveli are of special interest.

Evening is free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner
Morning drive to Bikaner (approx. 190kms / 03hours) en route visiting “Deshnok” which is world famous for its “Rat Temple”. Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque.

Upon arrival check-in at your hotel and later start city tour including the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar’s army and camel breeding farm.

Evening is free to explore local bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: Bikaner – Gajner – Jaisalmer 
Today we will start little early and enjoy jeep safari to the Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary to spot exotic animals like deer, jackal, wild boar and peacock.

Later drive to Jaisalmer (approx. 330kms / 05hours) en-route we visit the village of Bawari and Kolayat Kallan village. Here, you will walk through the streets of the village to observe the typical rural life of the villagers.

Continue your drive to Jaisalmer – the golden city of Rajasthan, situated in the heart of the Thar Desert. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel and relax in the comforts of your room and evening is free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Jaisalmer – Khuri   
Morning after breakfast, visit the 12th century magnificent fort at Jaisalmer (This is the highlight of the tour) and The Rich & beautiful palaces and “Havelis” of Jaisalmer shimmer against the relentless monotony of the Thar Desert. Its Rulers were known for their valour, their beautiful havelis and glorious temples. For close to ten centuries Jaisalmer has assumed the air of a virtual art museum.

Sightseeing in Jaisalmer includes Sonar Kila, Patwon ki haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Nathmalji Ki Haveli.

Afternoon proceed to Khuri village to enjoy a camel safari in the amazing sand dunes up to the sunset point and engaged yourself in learning cooking skills from local women. Enjoy your dinner with Rajasthani musicians. Overnight at resort in Khuri.

Day 07: Khuri – Osian
After breakfast drive to Osian (approx. 250kms / 05hours). Upon arrival check-in at your hotel and later enjoy a camel safari to nearby village. You can also visits the local potter, weavers, Bishnois huts along the safari route.

The evening is free to spend at the camp with folk dance performance followed by dinner. Overnight at the camp.

Day 08: Osian – Jodhpur – Chandelao
Morning drive to Jodhpur (approx. 65kms / 02hours). Jodhpur, The Gateway to the Thar desert, the city is known for its striking Forts, stately palaces and gracious buildings. Some of these are now India`s finest hotels. The city was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha of The Rajput clan.

Upon arrival visit Mehrangarh Fort built by the city`s founder five centuries ago, Jaswant Thada, Museum and local bazaar.

Later drive to Chandelao village. Upon arrival, visit Chandelao garh and explore Art & craft of local craftsman from village. Evening is free for relaxation or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Chandelao – Ranakpur  
Morning after breakfast, drive to Ranakpur (approx. 180kms / 04hours). Upon arrival visit, Jain temple. Ranakpur is famous for Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet & picturesque.

Ranakpur has grand structures & beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are side attractions. Also stop over to see traditional process of jaggery making.

Post visit, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Evening is free for individual activities or relaxations. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Ranakpur – Kumbalgarh – Udaipur     
Morning after breakfast, drive to Udaipur (approx. 120kms / 03hours) en-route visit massive Kumbhalgarh Fort encompassed by a 36kms long wall and has seven majestic gates and seven ramparts, one within the other.

Udaipur is founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 AD and also known as beautiful city of lakes, with its hilltop fortresses and palaces and the city is proud of its heritage as a center for performing arts, painting and crafts. Most of the marble palaces and fortification have now been transformed into palace hotels.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax in the comforts of your room. Late afternoon, enjoy exciting cultural folk dances of Rajasthan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Udaipur     
Morning after breakfast, day guided city tour to visit the City Palace, it stands on a hill surrounded by crenulated walls. Its main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the Tripolia, built in 1725.

Visit the Crystal Gallery, this is one the most lustrous attractions for tourist showcasing the rare and precious crystal from the royal treasure, closely is another fascinating monument Jagdish Temple, Built in 1651 A.D. by Maharaja Jagat Singh I. It is the largest and most splendid temple in Udaipur and later visit Sahalion Ki Bari.

Afternoon enjoy boat ride in lake Pichola. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Udaipur – Chittorgarh – Bundi      
After breakfast drive to Bundi (approx. 265kms / 05hours) en route visit Chittorgarh fort the well-established citadel and the capital of Mewar rulers. Upon arrival, visit Chittorgarh Fort, which stands 180 meters high with each stone narrating its own story.

Continue your drive to Bundi the little scenic town. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and afternoon is free to explore nearby villages. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Bundi
Today morning after breakfast, visit the Taragarh Fort a superb construction, which showcase the Rajput structural design, lodging some of the excellent Bundi frescos. You will see multicolored work of art which represent the stories of Lord Radha Krishna.

Later visit Sukh Mahal, a dissident subway supposed to be starting from Sukh Mahal to the old palace.

Afternoon is free to explore local villages or interact with locals. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Bundi – Samode       
After breakfast drive to Samode (approx. 260kms / 04 ½ hours). Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax in the comforts of your room.

Samode is a rural community located at the base of the Aravali mountain ranges. Here you can see small palaces, havelis and lots of tombstones. In samode, most of the palaces and havelis are convereted into heritage hotels.

Afternoon is free to explore local villages or relax at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Samode – Jaipur        
After breakfast drive to Jaipur (approx. 01hour). It is known as the pink capital of Rajasthan. The city owes its name from Maharaja Jai Singh who is a founder and a great astronomer.

Upon arrival visit Amber Fort situated just outside the city is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts and gives a grand view of the city down below. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated.

Later visit City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork, jewellery, costumes, brassware and pottery. Another monument near the City Palace is Jantar Mantar which is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.

Evening is free to relaxation or explores the crowded and colorful lanes of the pink city’s local bazaars. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Agra
This day after breakfast, proceed to Agra (approx. 255kms / 05-06hours) en-route visiting Abhaneri. This village is home to an unheralded architectural jewel and one of the most beautiful step wells (Baori) in Rajasthan. Abhaneri was gifted with skilled craftsmen and many sculptures from Abhaneri belonging to the post Gupta period are displayed in various museums around the world.

Continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel and relax in the comforts of your room.

Later witness the display of Marble Inlay Work (same intricate work done on marbles used in Taj Mahal). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17: Agra – Delhi         
Early morning sunrise visit to the world famous Taj Mahal built by Shahjahan in 1648 in memory of his Queen Mumtaj Mahal. This architectural marvel is a perfectly proportioned masterpiece fashioned from white marble that stands testimony to the skill of 20,000 craftsmen (Friday Closed).

Return to the hotel for breakfast and later visit the Agra Fort containing the halls private and public audiences. Both buildings are truly spectacular and the Taj Mahal is now one of the wonders of the World.

Post visit drive to Delhi by car (approx. 210kms / 04hours). Upon arrival in Delhi, evening is free for individual activities.

Late night departure transfer to the airport to connect your flight for onward destination.
