Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi by International flight. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 – Delhi – Jaisalmer (By Night Train)
Morning sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.
Afternoon, sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutab Minar, drive along the ceremonial avenue – Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President’s Residence and end the tour with a drive through Diplomatic Enclave.
Evening departure transfer to the railway station to board train for Jaisalmer. Overnight on the board.
Day 03 – Jaisalmer – Khuri
Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Jaisalmer Railway Station. Later drive to Khuri (Sand dunes) and check-in at the Resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room.
Late afternoon enjoy Camel safari in the sand dunes up to the sunset point. Return to the resort for dinner amidst Rajasthani musicians playing haunting tunes. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 04 – Khuri – Jaisalmer
Morning is at leisure to enjoy walk in village to see local house or culture. Later drive to Jaisalmer city. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room.
Afternoon is free for individual activities or visit local bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 – Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of The Golden City – Jaisalmer. Visit the 12th century magnificent fort at Jaisalmer (This is the highlight of the tour). Also visit the beautifully and magnificently carved Havelis of Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon ki Haveli and Gandhi Sagar Tank.
Afternoon is free for individual activities or visit local bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Chandelao
Today morning after early breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (approx. 320kms / 05hours). Jodhpur- The Gateway to the Thar desert, the city is known for its striking Forts, palaces and gracious buildings. Some of these are now India`s finest hotels. The city was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha of The Rajput clan.
Upon arrival visit Mehrangarh Fort built by the city`s founder five centuries ago, Jaswant Thada, museum and local bazaar.
Later drive to Chandelao village. Upon arrival, visit Chandelao garh and explore Art & craft of local craftsman from village. Evening is free for relaxation or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 – Chandelao – Ranakpur
Morning after breakfast, drive to Ranakpur (approx. 180kms / 04hours). Upon arrival visit, Jain temple. Ranakpur is famous for Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet & picturesque.
Ranakpur has grand structures & beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is really awe inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are side attractions. Also stop over to see traditional process of jaggery making.
Post visit, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Evening is free for individual activities or relaxations. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 – Ranakpur – Kumbalgarh – Udaipur
Morning after breakfast, drive to Udaipur (approx. 120kms / 03hours) en-route visit massive Kumbhalgarh Fort encompassed by a 36kms long wall and has seven majestic gates and seven ramparts, one within the other.
Udaipur is founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 AD and also known as beautiful city of lakes, with its hilltop fortresses and palaces and the city is proud of its heritage as a center for performing arts, painting and crafts. Most of the marble palaces and fortification have now been transformed into palace hotels.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Late afternoon, enjoy exciting cultural folk dances of Rajasthan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 – Udaipur – Delhi (By Night Train)
Morning after breakfast, day guided city tour to visit the City Palace, it stands on a hill surrounded by crenulated walls. Its main entrance is through the triple arched gate, the Tripolia, built in 1725.
Visit the Crystal Gallery, this is one the most lustrous attractions for tourist showcasing the rare and precious crystal from the royal treasure, closely is another fascinating monument Jagdish Temple, Built in 1651 A.D. by Maharaja Jagat Singh I. It is the largest and most splendid temple in Udaipur and later visit Sahalion Ki Bari.
Afternoon enjoy boat ride in lake Pichola. Overnight at the hotel.
Late evening departure transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi. Overnight on the board.
Day 10 – Delhi
In the morning arrival at Delhi Railway station and transfer to the hotel Early check-in subject to availability).
Afternoon visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. It is the most prominent and historic Sikh shrine in Delhi. The Gurudwara was built in the 17th century and dome of this Gurudwara and its Sanctum Sanctorum is gilded with pure Gold.
Visit its amazing kitchen (Langar hall)-Free kitchen service at the temple) where food is serves to everyone without discrimination. It’s a great experience to witness how meal is prepare for thousands of people every day.
Evening is free for individual activities or relaxations. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 – Delhi – Kathgodam – Binsar
Today early morning transfer to the Delhi railway station to board train for Kathgodam. Upon arrival, drive to Binsar (approx. 03hours). Upon arrival, transfer to the estate and relax amidst the comforts of your room.
Afternoon, meet your trekking accompanying guide who will briefing about the whole program, followed by dinner. Overnight at the estate.
Day 12 to Day 16 – Binsar Villages
Today after breakfast, we will start journey which goes through small villages. Every day will walk through different villages and get to know more about their daily life and food. All your baggage will be carried by porters from local village. During your stay, you will be living in small and simple homestays/guesthouses with normal facilities. All meals will be fresh cooked by villages with vegetables from their own farms.
Our whole day will be arranged in interacting with local, learn their cooking style and explore local hilltop for some wildlife and birding tour.
Day 17 – Binsar – Kathgodam – Delhi
Morning is at leisure after breakfast. Later afternoon drive to Kathgodam railway station to board night train for Delhi. Overnight on board.
Day 18 – Depart Delhi
In the morning arrival at Delhi railway station transfers to the hotel for wash & change. Rest of the day is free to explore local markets for last minute shopping.
Late in the night departure transfer to International airport to connect your flight for onward destination.
