Tigers in Central India

Day 01 – Arrive Delhi
Namaste! We are warmly welcomed the traditional Indian way with hands clapped together. After immigration and custom formalities, we will transfer you to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 – Delhi – Chandrapur (By Train)
Morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi which includes the Raj Ghat – the memorial at the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Jama Mosque – the largest Mosque in India and the Red Fort – Once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire.

Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for Chandrapur. Overnight on aboard.

Day 03 – Chandrapur – Tadoba National Park
Afternoon arrive at Chandrapur Railway station and drive to Tadoba National Park (approx. 45Kms / 01 hour). Tadoba Tiger Reserve is the pristine and unique eco-system situated in the Chandrapur district of the Maharashtra State of India. The Reserve contains some of the best of forest tracks and endowed with rich biodiversity. It is famous for its natural heritage.  Tadoba National Park, created in 1955 with an area of 116.55 sq. kms and andhari Wildlife Sanctuary created in 1986 with an area of 508.85 sq. kms. The Reserve is constituted with 577.96 sq. kms Reserve Forest, 32.51 sq. km. Protected Forest and 14.93 sq. km. other areas. Often referred to as “The Jewel of Vidharba”, the Tadoba National Park lies in the heart of a reserved forest, it is an infinite treasure trove of innumerable species of trees and plants – and wildlife that includes tigers, panthers, sloth bears, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, bison, barking deer, nil gai, sambar, and cheatal.

Upon arrival check-in at the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Rest of the day is free for leisure walk around surrounding area. Overnight at the resort.

Day 04 – Tadoba National Park
Early in the morning, the jeep will pick you up from the resort for the jungle safari. It is the best time to sight various birds stretching their wings. Besides the birds, various other wild animals will be waiting to greet you. After the jungle safari, come back to the resort for breakfast. Spend some time at resort and later head off for an afternoon jeep safari into the national park where you will have more chances of sighting tigers. Later in the evening return to the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Overnight at the resort.

Day 05 – Tadoba National Park – Nagzira National Park
Early morning safari through the national park. Return to the resort for breakfast and drive to Nagzira National Park (approx. 160kms / 04 hours), located within the northeastern corner of the state in Bhandara district. This national park is often referred to as the Green Oasis of Vidharba due to its beautiful and dense forest. Upon arrival check-in at the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free for leisure walk around surrounding area. Overnight at the resort.

Day 06 – Nagzira National Park
Today we will go on early morning jeep safari to national park. Being a home to various animals and it’s the best destination to spot wildlife. Bask in the wilderness of the park and later return to the resort for breakfast. Spend some time at resort and later head off for an afternoon jeep safari into the national park. Later in the evening return to the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Overnight at the resort.

Day 07 – Nagzira National Park – Pench National Park
Morning after breakfast, drive to Pench National Park (approx. 155Kms / 04 hours), the other jewel within the itinerary. The Park is nestled in the Southern slopes of the Satpura ranges of Central India, comprising of 758 sq. kms area, out of which a core area of 299 sq. kms is the national park and remaining 464 sq. kms is the buffer area.

Upon arrival check-in at the resort and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Evening is free for leisure walk around surrounding area. Overnight at the resort.

Day 08 – Pench National Park
Morning and afternoon Jeep/Canter safari to view wildlife. Pench National Park is especially famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Cheetal, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog and Wild Pig. The main predator is the Tiger followed by Leopard, Wild Dog and Wolf. Other animals include Sloth Bear, Chousingha, Chinkara, Barking Deer, Jackal, Fox, Palm Civet, Small Indian Civet, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Porcupine etc. Evening is free for individual activities or relaxation. Overnight at the resort.

Day 09 – Pench National Park – Nagpur – Delhi
Early morning safari through the national park. Return to the resort for breakfast and drive directly to Nagpur airport (approx. 90Kms / 03 hours) to board flight for Delhi. Upon in Delhi arrival check-in at the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 – Depart Delhi
Morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
