Stay with Royal Bengal Tigers

Day 01 – Arrive Kolkata
Namaste! We are warmly welcomed the traditional Indian way with hands clapped together. After immigration and custom formalities, we are transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 – Kolkata – Basanti – Sunderbans
Today after breakfast, drive to Basanti, which is approx. 100kms. On the way, we will pass through beautiful countryside’s, rural bazaar and Fishermen’s’ villages. On arrival, you will be transfer to our motorized boat which took you through river Hogol, Gomor, Durgaduani and Gumdi or you can stopover at Gosaba, one of the earliest human settlements of Sunderbans to visit the house of Sir Danniel Hamilton, a Scottish banker who initiated the first co-operative movement of India here.

On arrival, check-in at your Jungle resort. Afternoon, you will explore the wildlife from watch tower. In the evening, return back to your Jungle resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03 – Sunderbans
Today after morning breakfast, we will enjoy full day river cruise and birding tour to Sudhanyakhali watch tower (Sighting depend on the weather conditions). Your lunch will be served on board. In the evening, return back to your jungle resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04 – Sunderbans
In the morning after breakfast, we will proceed to visit Jharkhali forest and waterways to watch the wintering waterfalls.

In the evening, experience the traditional local rural theatre (Bonobibi Yatra) performed by the villagers in the resort. The theatre tells interesting story about the Tiger Lord, Forest God and Goddess, fishermen and honey collectors with lot of songs and dances. Enjoy your dinner followed by an overnight stay at the Jungle Resort.

Day 05 – Sunderbans – Kolkata
Today morning after breakfast, we will go to nearby village to interact with the local villagers in order to encounter about their daily livelihood.

After lunch, we will go to our jetty point to take car for Kolkata. Upon arrival in Kolkata, rest of the afternoon is free to explore the city or for individual activities.

Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
