A Road Trip to Sach Pass, Himachal Pradesh
Sach pass is situated in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. It’s famous among the adventure groups who love to take their bikes on rough roads. As you keep on going uphill, roads become narrow and rough but panoramic view and natural beauty is something which can’t be explain in words.This place is on the list of adventure lovers specially bike ride as roads are steep and tough. View from here is incredible and peaceful which indeed help in refreshing your soul. Trekking trails is one of the best in Himachal Pradesh as it takes one through landscapes, waterfalls, creeks, dense pine forests with beautiful villages along the way.
As our group of 06 young adventures buddies including (Mr. Harnek Singh) who are always looking for adventure trips and this time went to Sach pass from Chandigarh after Covid restriction are over in July 2021. As per Mr. Singh, It’s a lifetime experience and we recommended everyone to add this place to travel list. Start from our hometown and reaching the top, soaking in the view and beauty is an unforgettable experience or we must say one of the best trip still now.
While you passes through the valley and forest, you will see snow clad mountains and heaps of waterfall for perfect photograph. The entire valley offers many picturesque spots and villages. We have attached few photos and videos to give a glimpse of what we had experienced.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: The pass is opened from June till September or sometime till mid of October as it depends on weather condition. During July & August, monsoon is on its peak and chances of landslides and cloud burst increases. So plan your trip in June to Mid-July or September to October before temperature starting dropping down below zero degree.
HOW CAN I TRAVEL TO SACH PASS: Safest way is to take your SUV vehicle with good ground clearance. Other available options is to hire rent car from Pathankot or Dalhousie. Travelling on motorcycle is another common mode of travelling to Sach pass as it gives exhilarating experience. Motorcycle is the most preferable way of travelling to mountains.

HOW TO REACH: There are 03 directions to reach Sach pass. It can be Pathankot- Dalhousie, Manali-Udaipur &Udhampur/Anantnag-Paddar-Pangi road. We follow Pathankot-Dalhousie way as it’s a short distance and more popular route from Chandigarh.
