Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrive Bangalore
Upon arrival our representative will greet you at Bangalore Airport. Bangalore popularly known as the City of Gardens with numerous parks and gardens, blossomed trees and suitable climate throughout the year. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and relax in the comforts of your room. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – Bangalore – Hospet – Hampi (Night Train)
Today morning after breakfast, start your sightseeing tour of Bangalore which includes visit to Tipus Sultan’s Palace – a fine specimen of military architecture of the 18th century with a two storied structure built of wood, Bull temple at Basavangudi, Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Botanical Gardens. Evening is free for individual activities.

Evening transfer to the railway station to board night train for Hospet. Overnight on board.

Day 03 – Hampi
Early morning arrive at Hospet railway station and drive to Hampi (20minutes), the World Heritage Center, is the most beautiful and amazing of all the ruins of Karnataka. Once it was capital of Vijayanagar kingdom where kings look after their people.
Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Post breakfast proceed to experience this World Heritage Site and best way is to take a leisurely walk through the ruins.
Important structure and ruins are divided in two areas, known by the name of Sacred Centre and Royal Centre. Sacred centre is located on the banks of river Tungabhadra. Visit Vittthala temple and Virupaksha temple. The Royal Centre have ruins structures of palaces, Royal stables and temples for ceremonial use.

Evening is free for individual activities or relaxations. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 – Hampi
After breakfast, enjoy another day around the ruins. Visit to nearby village and learn more about stories of Kings and previous rulers.

Enjoy some quiet time at Tungabhadra River and meet the priest of temple. Evening is free for relaxation or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 – Hampi – Hulagol 
Morning after breakfast drive to Hulagol (Approx. 250kms / 05 ½ hours) near the town of Sirsi. Upon arrival check-in at your homestay situated inside the huge farm and relax in the comforts of your room. Surroundings of the area is very beautiful with plantation, huge grassland and small lake. You can hear the voice of birds from your room.

Rest of the day is free for leisure walks or individual activities. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 06 – Hulagol 
Morning after leisure breakfast, explore the local area with a visit to Spices farms to understand how they do farming on hillside. Lots of spices like Cardamom, peppercorns and cinnamon is famous from this area.

Later visit small factory where cleaning and processing method is done. This is a good way to learn about the final product which comes in market. Evening is free for leisure walks and interact with local people from village. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 07 Hulagol Pavinakurva
Morning after breakfast drive to Pavinakurva (approx. 90kms / 02hours). It is a small village on costal line covered with palm trees.

Upon arrival, check into the guesthouse. During your stay, you will be living in small and simple guesthouses with normal facilities. All meals will be fresh cooked by villages with food from their own farms.

Rest of the day is free for leisure walks around village or spend time at beach. Overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 08 Pavinakurva – Calicut (Night Train)<
Today morning after breakfast, enjoy fishing activity and visit the village to see boat prepared by local fisherman with handicraft and traditional paintings on them.

This area is rich in crops like Rice and cashew nuts, see how harvesting is done. Afternoon visit agriculture farm and followed with a visit to Crab & fishing farm.

Later evening transfer to Karwar railway station (02hours) to board train for Calicut. Overnight on board.

Day 09 Calicut – Vythiri
Morning arrive at Calicut railway station and drive to Vythiri (01 ½ hours). Vythiri is hidden amidst the thick rainforest of Wayand.

Upon arrival check-in at your hotel and relax in the comforts of your room. Afternoon go on walking tour along the surrounding. Evening is free for relaxation or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 Vythiri 
Today after breakfast, visit house of local farmer to get more knowledge about their Coffee plantation and paddy farm. Enjoy a Cooking class with them with fresh vegetables from their farm.

Return to the hotel for leisure walks or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 Vythiri – Calicut – Cochin
Morning is free for leisure walk around the area. Later drive to Calicut railway station to board afternoon train for Cochin.

Arrive in Cochin and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Evening is free for your leisure activities or relax at hotel pool. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 – Cochin – Kumbalanghi Village
Morning after breakfast, visit Fort Kochi which is the oldest European settlement in India (1500), and has a mixture of English, Dutch and Portuguese influence. The Mattancherry Palace was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, but extensive renovations by the Dutch some hundred years later earned it the name the Dutch Palace. It has some of the best murals in India, depicting scenes from the Ramayana and other great legends. Later visit the Jew town synagogue where Kochi’s surviving Jewish community come to worship. Nearby are the interesting cantilevered Chinese Fishing nets.

In the early evening we see a performance of Kathakali, which is thought by some to be the very essence of the culture of Kerala. Its origins may have come from traditional temple rituals. It is the face make up which makes this dancing so unique. The dancers take more than two hours to paint their faces – facial expressions and eye movements which are important in the dance. The dances usually show the events from the great Indian epics Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Later transfer to the Kumbalanghi Village which are on the outskirts of city. This beautiful village is appreciate by local government for its work. Upon arrival, check in to the homestay for next 02 nights. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 13 – Kumbalanghi Village
Today morning after breakfast, we will enjoy fishing activity and visit the village to see local handicraft and paintings.

See how harvesting of coconut is done along with how coir fibre is made out of coconut husk. Afternoon visit agriculture farm and followed with a visit to Crab farm. Later, see traditional dance performance by local artist of village.
In evening, we will know about Kumbalanghi cuisines which is famous for spicy and mouth-watering food. Today you will experience how local people eat food on banana leaf. By the help of our local chef, you will witness cooking process and enjoy a traditional Keralan dinner with a local family. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 14 – Kumbalanghi Village – Kottayam – Alleppey
In the morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey (approx. 105kms / 02 ½ hours) en-route visit Kottayam, a town of ancient churches predating the European missionaries by a thousand years. Thereafter, we will continue your drive to the coastal town of Alleppey and we head for the canals and channels that make up the Kerala Backwaters.

Late afternoon enjoy a traditional houseboat for 02hours through the region in the backwaters of Kerala. Sail along these narrow channels to see the life of local people and how they cultivating vegetable gardens. This evening we will stay near the banks of Vembanad Lake. Evening is free for individual activity or relaxation. Overnight at the hotel / homestay.

Day 15 – Alleppey   
In morning, you can also practice meditation and yoga in the calm surroundings of this area.

Later after breakfast, rest of the day is free to explore the village and getting to know our local families. You can go for various Ayurvedic treatments, cooking classes, take gentle walks through the surrounding villages or just relax at the lake. Overnight at the hotel / homestay.

 Day 16 – Alleppey – Cochin Airport (Depart)
Today morning after breakfast drive to Cochin airport (approx. 75kms / 02hours).In time transfer to the airport to connect international flight for onward destination.
