Package Cost Includes:

  1. Accommodation on double sharing basis in hotel/ Guest house.

  6. All pick up, drop, transfers and sightseeing tour as per itinerary by private car including all toll tax, parking and interstate taxes.

Package Cost Does Not Include:

  1. Items of personal nature like Porterage, Tips, Laundry and Mineral water.
  2. Monument entrance fee to any monuments or camera fee.
  3. International / Domestic flight & Visa fee.
  4. Any lunch, dinner, snacks or mineral water etc. unless mentioned in the itinerary.
  5. All other items and service not mentioned above.
  6. Company will not be responsible for any loss / Damage of Baggage, Train / Flight Delay or Cancellation due to technical fault or Natural disasters, Road blockage, Strike and Land slide etc.

Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrive Kolkata 
Arrive Kolkata and meet the representative at the arrival hall and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 – Kolkata – Dibrugarh (By Flight)
Today morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Dibrugarh.

Dibrugarh is known as the tea capital of Assam because of the numerous tea estates and situated on the banks of the River Brahmaputra. This area is also one of the largest tea exporting town in India. Numerous tea estates are located along highway and around the area.

Upon arrival check-in at the bungalow and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Later walk along with its tea gardens, which are spread like a green carpet. Overnight at the bungalow.

Day 03 – Dibrugarh
Today after breakfast, start your Tea Garden tour where you will see how it is grown and process. Visit to the tea factory is amazing where one can observe the full process of manufacturing. Try some tea and get to know about its origin and history. After that, visit Mancotta Tea Estate famous for its traditional and higher quality of tea.

Afternoon drive to Digboi (Approx. 01 hour) which is famous for its first refinery which was started in early 1901 by the British. Oldest oil well of this place is still in operation. We will visit the Oil museum and World War II cemetery

Then proceed to the Singpho village. Singphos are a tribe belonging to the Kachin of Burma and are related to the Jingpo of China. It is said that British learn the art of Tea from this tribe and starts using in their daily life. Visit Organic tea garden of this village. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04 – Dibrugarh – Mon  
Today morning is free for relaxation or walk along with its tea gardens. Later, drive to Mon (approx. 150Kms / 04hours). The drive to Mon will be through lush green valley of the tea estates and also en-route visit the ancient monuments of the Ahom kingdom.

This area have Konyak tribe which is also a traditional and one of the oldest tribes. Most of the tribe people are skilled craftsman and artisan with beautiful woodcarving, head brushes necklace etc. This region is inhabited by several tribes but Konyak nagas is the main. They can be easily seen by their tattooed faces.

Upon arrival check-in at the guest house and later visit their villages to know more about their culture. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 05 – Mon 
Today after breakfast, you will visit Shangnyu village to know more about their culture and centuries old traditions. Interact with the people and get to know more about their lifestyle.

Evening is free to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 06 – Mon – Mokokchung   
Today after breakfast, drive to Mokokchung (approx. 165Kms / 07-08 hours) home to Naga tribe and this district has its headquarters located in the town of Mokokchung.

Upon arrival check-in at the guest house. This village is on hill and each house having beautiful view of hills. Later explore the nearby village and their local market and enjoy the surrounding area. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 07 – Mokokchung   
Today morning after breakfast visit Ungma and Longkhum villages.

Ungma is located just outside Mokokchung and one of the largest villages. This tribe village is still best known for traditional and culture. Here, we will visit local handicraft and handlooms shop.

Longkhum village is best known for its natural beauty with beautiful Rhododendrons all over the hills. This is the place to sit and watch surroundings.

Evening is free to explore the nearby village and their local market and enjoy the surrounding area. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 08 – Mokokchung – Tuophema
Today morning after breakfast drive to Tuophema (approx. 110Kms / 04 hours). Upon arrival, check into the cottages which is built in traditional style.

Later visit the Touphema village and enjoy a trek around the area to enjoy scenic beauty. Every year in the month of February, Angami Sekrenyi festival is celebrate here by different tribes of this area. Return to the cottage for overnight stay.

Day 09 – Tuophema – Khonoma Village – Kohima    
Today after breakfast, drive to Kohima (approx. 55Kms / 02 hours) en route visit Khonoma village, which is famous for British infiltration.

Later reach Kohima which is capital of Nagaland. It’s a beautiful hill station with a views of the north east Hills. Here weather is so clear with clean air that people especially comes on weekends. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel and afternoon is free for leisure walks around the area or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 – Kohima    
Today after breakfast, start tour of Kohima city by visiting World War II Memorial. This is in honour of the soldiers who lied their lives with battle against the Japanese army.

Later visit State Museum which displays the culture and lifestyle of Naga people. Here, you can see their Art & Handicrafts, handlooms, Gems & Jewellery and some ancient weapons.

Afternoon explore Kisema village and Bara Basti village and evening is free to explore local market or leisure walks around the area. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 – Kohima – Jorhat  
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Jorhat (approx. 200Kms / 05-06hours). Upon arrival check-in at the bungalow and relax amidst the comforts of your room.

Late afternoon, enjoy walk along with its tea gardens, which are spread like a green carpet. Overnight at the bungalow.

Day 12 – Jorhat     
Today after breakfast explore the nearby Tea gardens. We will also visit the Gymkhana club in Jorhat, which was built in 1876 by D. Slimmon and famous for horse races

Afternoon is free for leisure walks around the area or individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 – Jorhat – Kolkata (By Flight)
Today after breakfast, drive to airport to board flight for Kolkata. Arrive at Kolkata and rest of the day is free to explore the city or for individual activities.

Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
