Day 01 – Arrive Kolkata
Arrive Kolkata by International flight. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 – Kolkata – Guwahati (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel and relax amidst the comforts of your room. If time allow we will have an excursion to Dipor Beel area to see Greater Adjutant Stork. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 – Guwahati – Kukurmara – Chandubi Lake – Guwahati
Today after breakfast, we will go on a full day excursion to Kukurmara for seeing Gangetic dolphin and water birds. Upon arrival at Kukurmara, board a country boat (without motor) for watching dolphins and birds. The Gangetic Dolphins are found in large numbers on Kulsi River. After, we will drive to Chandubi Lake for watching some water and migratory birds. The beauty of the lake and its surroundings with its calm and peaceful nature attracts a sizable amount of migratory birds during winter. Evening return to the Guwahati for overnight stay.
Day 04 – Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
Morning after breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 195Kms / 04 hours). Kaziranga national park which is mainly famous for Indian one Horned Rhinoceros. Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, with covering an area of approximately 430-sq-kms, with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass, making Kaziranga National Park the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.
Upon arrival check-in at the resort/Camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Afternoon Jeep safari to the National park for wildlife viewing. Overnight at the resort/Camp.
Day 05 – Kaziranga National Park
Today early morning, enjoy a Jeep safari in the Eastern Range of the park. Afternoon, proceed for a jeep safari in the Western Range of the park. The area is excellent for birding and it includes nesting of the globally threatened Pallas’s Fish Eagle and a colony of Spot-billed Pelicans. Various woodland birds can be seen along the drive through very scenic Dillenia Swamp Forest. Elephants may be encountered, as well Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer. In the evening, return to the resort and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings with the chirping and singing of birds. Overnight at the resort/Camp.
Day 06 – Kaziranga National Park
Early morning go to the the Central Range for an Elephant Ride. Later return to the resort for the breakfast. Later once again we will go to the Central Range of the park for a jeep safari. Afternoon, we will do one more safari to watch some more birding activity.
In the evening, return to the resort and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings with the chirping and singing of birds. Overnight at the resort/Camp.
Day 07 – Kaziranga National Park
Morning Jeep safari to the park. Return to the resort for breakfast and later we will go on a natural walk in nearby area. This area is rich in birdlife and a very good place to look for Hoolock Gibbon the only ape species found in India and Malayan Giant Squirrel. Also, visit some Karbi tribe settlement.
In the evening, return to the resort and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings with the chirping and singing of birds. Overnight at the resort/Camp.
Day 08 – Kaziranga National Park – Nameri National Park
Morning after breakfast, drive to Nameri National Park (approx. 90Kms / 02 hours) enroute stop at Tezpur city. Nameri national Park covering an area of 200 Sq. Kms nestled at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. It is famous for the high density of elephant population.
Nameri National Park covers a vast area with river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating the park, it is the most scenic of all the national parks of Assam. It’s in the eastern border of Assam in the valley and mountainous Arunachal Pradesh, Nameri is home to some of the endangered species like white winged wood duck, Sloth Bear, Tiger Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, four varieties of Hornbill and many other winged species. The other reason Nameri is famous for is the herds of elephants. The park have a high density of elephant population and due to lessening of forest cover, they sometimes invade human inhabited villages, which have attracted the attention of wildlife conservationists worldwide.
Upon arrival check-in at the camp and relax amidst the comforts of your room. Rest of the day is free for leisure walks around the camp site and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings with the chirping and singing of birds. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 09 – Nameri National Park
Morning after breakfast a guided trekking through forest reserve popular for bird watching. Afternoon enjoy river rafting on Jia Bhoroli to explore water birds like – Ibis Bill, Ruddy Shelduck, Yellow Thick Knee, Kingfishers and many more. Evening is free for leisure walks around the camp site and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings with the chirping and singing of birds. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 10 – Nameri National Park – Guwahati – Kolkata
Today after breakfast, we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here, we will go with the guide and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife. Here, one can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills.
Return to the resort and directly drive to Guwahati airport (approx. 225Kms / 05 hours) to board the flight for Kolkata. Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Kolkata airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 – Kolkata – Sundarban (By Motor boat)
Today after early breakfast, drive to Godkhali jetty point (approx. 90Kms / 03 hours). Upon arrival, we will board the motor boat for Sundarban Island crossing several rivers and streams like Hogli, Gomar, Durgaduani and Gumdi. After a 02hours boat cruise, we will reach the Island of Sundarban. Upon arrival check-in at the wildlife resort.
Afternoon explore the Sundarban National Park by motor boat with having some stoppage and Sajnekhali watch tower. Here, we will also visit the museum and mangrove interpretation center. The stoppage at watch tower will provide us an opportunity to view its wildlife and birds. Evening return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 12 – Sundarban
Today early morning enjoy the chirping and singing of birds around resort area. Later, we will board the motor boat for a thrilling experience inside the creeks and dense forest of Sundarban. Today, we will be moving through various river and streams visiting a number of places.
We will also visit the deer rehabilitation center. After lunch, we will be cruising through Malta River which merges in the Bay of Bengal from here we will able to see whole view. Evening return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 13 – Sundarban
Today after breakfast, we will again get ready to board the motor boat for a thrilling experience inside the creeks and dense forest of Sundarban. Evening return to the resort to enjoy the activities offered by the resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day 14 – Sundarban – Kolkata (By Motor boat)
Today early morning enjoy the chirping and singing of birds around resort area. After breakfast, we will board the motor boat for cruise back to Godkhali jetty point. During our way back we will see some water birds. Arrive at Jetty point and drive to the Kolkata city. Upon arrival, rest of the day is free to explore the city or for individual activities.
Late night transfer to the airport for your departure flight for onward destination.
