Visa Information:
How do I find out about the visa requirements for the trip?
We always recommend that passengers check with their local embassy as visa rules can change without warning. Embassy websites in your home country will always have information about requirements, visa costs and will provide the required forms.
Do I need a Visa to go to India?
All nationals, except citizen from Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives need a valid visa to enter in India. Maldives National need an Indian visa only when stay in India is longer than 90 days.
What is required to visit India?
To enter India you need a valid passport and return ticket with a valid visa. Note that your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months after your entry and should have at least two blank pages
How can I apply for Indian E-visa?

Is travelling to India safe?

Travel Insurance:
Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is compulsory for all travellers when you travel with us. You are wholly responsible for arranging your own insurance. You must ensure that you have personal travel insurance with protection for the full duration of the tour in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation and cancellation
What does my policy need to cover?
At a minimum, your travel insurance should be ‘comprehensive’, providing cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and personal liability. We also recommend that it covers cancellation, loss of luggage and personal effects.
What is the currency used in India? How much should I take in credit cards or cash? Can I use my credit card during the trip?
Currency used in India is called Indian Rupees. You can exchange money at airport, hotel or any foreign money changer. All credit cards and ATM cards are accepted at hotels, restaurant or shops. Keeping some cash is always a good idea incase cards doesn’t work.
What essential documents do I need to take?
It’s always important that you travel with your passport, visas, travel insurance and our documents which have all details of emergency contact numbers.
Do I have to pay advance to book package?
For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid either before your departure from your country or upon arrival in INDIA but before the services starts. Based on the nature of the service and the time left for the commencement of the service, Company hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment,
Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (Christmas Eve & New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance to hold the booking.
What mode of payment do Visits of India accept?
Overseas advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our bank account.
Can I change or cancel my Wildlife Safari?
All the safaris to national park / Wildlife sanctuaries which are already booked are non-refundable. Even date change request can be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded / adjusted against it.
Can I get refund for unused services?
If the tour or any part of the services cannot be conducted due technical fault or Natural disasters, Road blockage, Strike and Land slide, the Company shall not be responsible to give any refund to you. However, Visits of India gives the refund based on following factors like the number of participants, the cancellation policies of hoteliers, coach operators, etc. the decision of the Company on the quantum of refund shall be final.
No refund is possible if the Client does not or cannot utilize any of the services like hotels, sightseeing, rides, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc. due to any reason whatsoever.
